My research interests are focused on various personality and social psychological concepts and processes. At present, one major line of research deals with psychological processes in stereotyping and prejudice and how these phenomena can be explained by different psychological approaches. These approaches include personality psychology (social dominance orientation, right-wing authoritarianism, and Big-Five personality), social psychology (situational factors, group membership, and group identification), and cognition (stereotype knowledge, stereotype activation, and stereotype inhibition). I employ experimental as well as correlational designs to integrate these approaches.
